COLUMBIA
Against the wall there are pallets
Of coffee grown in Columbia
Roasted in Hoboken , Calumet or Jacksonville
Inside the wall are many men
And women who have come to work
If for no other reason than it is here
Outside the wall there is the sun
That gives life to the grass
To the trees and children who drink it in
Against the wall are grounds
Of coffee from Columbia handled
By people who work in darkness
And feel so old.
